Jammu Feb 12 :- With an aim to foster and reinforce the spirit of peace and communal harmony in the region, Indian Army organised Kaumi Ekta Meet at Chas of Kishtwar District. The event provided a platform to the Awaam populace from various religions and different walks of life to interact with each other on common issues and to spread the message of unity and brotherhood.
A total of 46 villagers attended the meeting. The Awaam populace and Community leaders expressed hope that such events will give a fillip to communal harmony in the region.
