Jammu: Today a renowned social activist and former State President of Janata Party Sh. Somnath Dabgotra joined IkkJutt Jammu Party in presence of President IkkJutt Jammu Ankur Sharma, Party General Secretaries, Secretaries, Treasurer and other office bearers. All team members of Somnath Dabgotra’s organisation also formally became members of IkkJutt Jammu.
Somnath Dabgotra has a rich experience in J&K’s politics and comes from a party which in 1977 had formed Govt at the centre with Sh. Morarji Desai as the Prime Minister. Dr. Subramanian Swamy was the last President of the Janata Party.
Somnath Dabgotra is a well known name in J&K’s politics and civil society given his track record of continuous fight against Separatism and Separatists in J&K. There is no separatist leader in J&K who has not taken a drubbing at the hands of Mr. Dabgotra whenever any of them tried to spew venom against the country while in Jammu Province. Mr. Dabgotra also runs a Free Ambulance Service from Jammu City and runs a free Bhandara in and around Hospitals.
President IkkJutt Jammu Ankur Sharma expressed hope that with the joining of Somnath Dabgotra, the fight of IkkJutt Jammu for political empowerment and liberation of Jammu will gain strength.
