Kishtwar, December 30: Three blocks of District Kishtwar have enrolled for organizing the Inter Panchayat Block Level tournaments by involving 17 Panchayat teams. The matches were held at Inderwal-A, Chingam A, Chingam-C, Lower Chatroo A, Lower Chatroo B, Upper Chatroo, Inderwal, Karool A, Karool B, Karool, Ghan, Binoon, Nami, Patnazi, Jawalapur,Tipri, Mori.
Dr. Shamus Din Ali, Sarpanch of Panchayat Jawalapur, Nisha Billoria Sarpanch of Panchayat Karool-A and Bashir Ahmed Sarpanch of Panchayat Rahalthal inaugurated the functions at HSS Binoon, HSS Mughal Maidhan and GHS Saarthal, respectively.
As per the block incharges, the matches were conducted in a well disciplined manner and as per the rules and regulations. DYSSO Kishtwar, Kharati Lal Sharma appreciated the role of sports employees for engaging the youths in this chilly weather at far-flung areas.
