Doda, December 23: Deputy Commissioner, Doda Vikas Sharma today reviewed the performance of banks and line departments for the quarter ending September 2021 here at the District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting.
At the outset, threadbare discussion was held on achievements in priority and non priority sectors vis a vis Annual Credit Plan (ACP) and other individual beneficiary Schemes.
The concerned Departments and bankers shared their views on account of non achievement of the desired targets in respect of some priority sector segments.
It was informed that different banks have lent to the beneficiaries under priority sector which is around 39% of the targets fixed.
The DC asked heads of the banks with poor performance in the priority sector to give in writing the reasons for lagging behind the set targets. He further directed them to take required steps to increase the CD ratio in the district in priority sector.
It was also given out that 65% of the target have been achieved in lending in the housing sector in the district and 68% in MSME sector upto September this year. In agriculture sector 26% of the target has been reached disbursing Rs 97.26 crore to the beneficiaries till September this year. In non priority sector the district has surpassed the target till September 2021. Besides targets, sponsorship, sanction and disbursement of cases scheme wise run by different government departments was discussed in the meeting and departments with less sponsorship were directed to meet out the targets immediately as the sector of self employment is a priority of UT administration.
The AD Employment being nodal officer for self employment schemes was asked to submit a panchayat wise list of cases sponsored, sanctioned and disbursed under the various self employment schemes run by different departments.
The bank authorities were asked to achieve 100% ADHAAR seeding by the end of this month as per the targets set by the government.
The sponsoring agencies were directed to follow the sponsored cases till the unit is established by the beneficiary. The DC also directed the district heads and bank heads to achieved the targets set for the ongoing Good Governance Week celebrations 2021
The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, Lead Bank Manager, DSWO Doda, DIO Doda, AD Employment Doda, AD Handicrafts Doda. CAHO Doda, CAO Doda, Superintendent DVH Doda, District Manager SC/ST Dev corporation, Officers of line departments, besides bank officers /officials.
