Kulgam, December 23: As part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ and in observance of Good Governance Week with a theme ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur’, Lead Bank today disbursed 50 loan cases under various Govt sponsored schemes during a programme organised at Cluster Office, JK Bank Kulgam.
Sanction letters were distributed among the beneficiaries by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat.
The Lead Bank office is celebrating the week as Disbursement Week and the maximum number of Youth, Farmers and other beneficiaries are ensured to be benefitted from the basket of Govt schemes.
While interacting with the beneficiaries, the DC urged them to be self-reliant and create job opportunities for youth in their individual ventures by proper utilization of this financial assistance provided to them under the Government sponsored schemes.
He also urged the unemployed youth to avail benefits of various Government self-employment generation schemes and to be job providers rather than job seekers.
He appreciated the role of JK Bank in taking lead in credit dispensation in the district and being major contributors to the District Credit Plan.
LDM Arshad Qadri, Cluster Head JK Bank Iftikhar Abdullah and District Coordinator KVIB Sajad Ahmed were present on the occasion.
