Ramban, November 23: Department of Horticulture, Ramban today conducted Farmers’ Awareness Camp here at Block Rajgarh to sensitize them about different schemes.
The camp was graced by the BDC Chairman, Sonika Devi, DDC Councillor Rajgarh, Mohammad Shafi Zargar and PRI members of the adjoining Panchayats besides more than hundred farmers.
During the camp, the Chief Horticulture Officer Vaishno Kant Gupta discussed in detail the departmental schemes and asked the farmers to avail maximum benefits of the same for their economical development. He also sought suggestions from the farmers for providing hassle free service to the farming community besides addressing the complaints and grievances of the people in an effective manner. He ensured that all workable reform and departmental schemes reach to each and every relegated section hassle free.
While speaking on the occasion BDC Chairperson, DDC Councillor, PRI member’s and farmers exhorted upon the participants to avail maximum benefits from the CSS and state sector schemes of the Horticulture Department. The Block Development Officer Rajgarh, Vishal Attri also spoke on the occasion.
The farmers appreciated the department of Horticulture for holding awareness camps in far flung areas and requested to hold such camps in other backward areas of the block.
