Kishtwar, November 18: Cooperative Department Kishtwar today organised a scintillating cultural program here in the auditorium of Boys higher Secondary School to mark the celebration of 68th Cooperative week.
The program featured a theme based skit on Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, folk dance and music and other cultural items by the students of different schools.
The event was held under the supervision of Deputy Registrar, Maheer Thakur.
The Skit was presented by the girls of Kidzee Kishtwar besides a beautiful song was presented by Samridhi Sen which mesmerized the audience.
The students of different schools also participated and made the whole event wonderful with folk dance and a play on drug abuse.
Meanwhile, registration certificates were handed over to the two newly formed FPO societies by Deputy Registrar Cooperative.
The certificates of appreciation were also distributed among the participating students.
While speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Registrar enlightened the gathering about the policies of the cooperative Department and urged the public to come forward for the welfare of youth, women and weaker sections of the society.
Akhtar qazi i/Inspector and R. K Raina, senior supervisor also spoke about the cooperative department and its functioning.
