Kishtwar, November 16: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma today reviewed the functioning of Revenue Department here at a meeting held in the conference Hall DC office Complex.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Kishori Lal Sharma; SDM Chatroo, Inderjeet Parihar; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Akhter Hussain Qazi; Tehsildar (HQ) Chander Shekhar Sharma, besides All Tehsildars and other concerned revenue officials  attended the meeting.

At the outset, the DC took a detailed action-taken report of the decisions taken in the previous meeting.

The DC took tehsil-wise detailed review of the progress in the deposition of Jamabandis Parat, Patwar/Parat Sarkar, Girdawaries, attestation of mutations, progress on eviction of encroachment from State, Kahcharai, Common and forest land and the progress on the scanning of revenue record. He stressed on speedy scanning of left out revenue records and submission of the completion certificate by 20th of this month.

Expressing satisfaction on the progress of removal of encroachments, the DC Kishtwar exhorted upon the concerned officers to continue the process till the target is achieved as per the eviction plan.

Meanwhile, he directed concerned revenue officers to submit monthly reports and desired information for further submission to higher authorities well in time without any fail.

SDMs and Tehsildars were directed to inspect the developmental works and ensure the punctuality of staff in government offices.

He said that regular inspection of developmental works, ensuring punctuality of staff in government offices and redressal of public grievances at the doorstep is the top most priority of single line administration and the same shall be delivered by department.

The implementation of COVID-19 Appropriate Behaviour, enforcement of rates of minerals as per the govt notification, status of the pending ACB/court cases and enquiries were also reviewed in the meeting.
