DC Kishtwar flags-off group of students for trekking expedition

Kishtwar, November 16: A group of 70 students drawn from all educational Zones of district Kishtwar were today flagged off for seven day trekking expedition to Paddar area here from the premises of DC complex.

The expedition organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports, in collaboration with District Administration was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma in presence Additional Deputy Commissioner Kashori Lal; ACR Akther Hussain Qazi; SDM Chhatroo Inderjeet Parihar; District Youth Services and Sports   officer, Kharati Lal Sharma besides other officers.

On the occasion, District Development Commissioner Kishtwar wished the students a happy journey to nature’s wonderful place Paddar. He advised them  to maintain  discipline, obey the orders of escort teachers/guides and   follow the COVID-19 Appropriate Behavior  during the  voyage.

The DYSSO Kishtwar apprised the chief guest about the arrangements, trekking routes.

He asked the students to avoid much mobile usage and make active participation in all activities scheduled by the department during the seven day camp.
