Ramban November 15: Councillor District Development Council, Ramban, Renuka Katoch today kick-started road construction work from District Police Lines to Ward number 9 Maitra here in the presence of PRIs.
Assistant Executive Engineer, PWD, Ramban, Ranjeet Singh, Engineers, prominent citizens and field staff of the department were also present on the occasion.
She said that the 1.2 KM DPL to Ward number 9 Maitra road project would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 40.50 Lakh under DDC grant of District Capex Budget. Renuka Katoch said that nearly 300 people would be benefited with the completion of this road work.
The Councillor said that connecting each and every habitation of Ramban-B constituency with roads is the top priority of the District Development Council Ramban. “Sustainable development of far-flung areas is not possible without road connectivity and with this view the Centre Government has sanctioned many road projects for rural areas” , she added.
