KULGAM, NOVEMBER12: The District Skill Committee meet was today held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat at Mini-Secretariat, here.
During the meeting, the DC instructed the members to address the Skill gap in various industrial sectors and formulate a robust and result oriented skill development plan for the district.
The members were also asked to establish a district Skill counselling and employment cell to aware youth about demand driven Skill courses and self-employment schemes of government.
It was also decided that the committee will meet after 10 days to finalize the District Skill Development Plan.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, ADC, GM DIC, CEO, Principals from ITI Kulgam and K.B. Pora, LDM, ALC and other members.
