Kupwara, November 5: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah, Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Rather today chaired a meeting of the Sub Divisional Level Committee to review the progress of implementation of Forest Rights Act-2006 in the border sub division.

The meeting held threadbare discussion and reviewed the progress of implementation of Forest Rights Act in the border Subdivision Karnah.

Meanwhile, the SDM directed the concerned officers and PRIs for scrutinization and proper verification of the application forms so that deserving applicants could be benefited under Forest Rights Act.

BDC chairperson Tangdar, BDOs, Range Officers, besides, Sarpanchs and other concerned attended the meeting.
