Ramban, October 29: Kala Utsav-2021- a 2-day cultural based programme commenced today here at Government Girls High School, Ramban to provide a platform to young students of secondary-level to exhibit their talent in Arts, Music, Theatre, Dance, Visual Arts and Crafts.
The initiative is guided by the Department of Education in Coordination with District Administration.
Chief Education Officer, Ramban, Vinod Koul was the chief guest and Headmaster of the host school was the guest of honour on the occasion. The programme was coordinated by Master Raj Singh Raju and Ruhi Kundal.
Speaking on the occasion, the CEO said that Kala Utsav is an initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE) under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan, to promote different arts in education by nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students at the secondary stage.
He said that Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) is recognizing the importance of aesthetics and artistic experiences for secondary-level students, which play a major role in creating awareness of India’s rich cultural heritage and its vibrant diversity.
