Jammu: The student of SP Smart School today excelled in thedebate competition organised by District Police, Jammu.A participant Miss Iqra Naaz of SP Smart School secured 1stposition while another participant Naman Preet, the student of SP Smart Schoolgot a prize for participation.Topic of the debate competition was ‘The role of police innation building’.The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Sh. Chandan KohliIPS, SSP Jammu besides prominent citizens, youth, students, family members ofthe participants and other dignitaries also witnessed the occasion.The motto behind holding such programme by District PoliceJammu is to provide a platform to the young, budding and enthusiastic participants. About 22 students from different schoolsparticipated in the programme. Civil society members praised the efforts of J&K Police in conducting such programme which create an impact in the mind of people and carry the moral of the same to the grass root level for the transformation ofthe society. SSP Jammu, appreciated the success and intelligence of students for taking part in such a unique event. He also stressed upon the young budding participants of the district to allow their minds to explore their own thoughts and imagination through their debates. Moreover, the winners of the competition were felicitated with appreciation certificates.
