JAMMU, Oct 19: Top J&K cricketer Ian Dev Singh has made a comeback in after his inclusion in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Twenty20 Trophy by the J&K Cricket Association (JKCA).
The J&K team in the shorter form of the annual event of the BCCI is led by young skipper, Shubam Pundeer while IPL star from the UT, Abdul Samad will be his deputy. The event is scheduled to be held from October 27 at Vadhodra in Gujarat.
Other members of the team are Shubam Khajuria, Qamran Iqbal, Vivant Sharma, Henan Malik, Parvez Rasool, Manzoor Dar, Umran Malik, Abid Mushtaq, Yudhveer Singh, Mujtaba Yousuf, Irfan-ul-Haq, Suryansh Raina, Aqib Nabi, Waseem Raza, Ram Dayal, Jatin Wadhawan and Paras Sharma.
The selectors have also kept Umar Nazir as a standby to join the team in case he is relieved as net bowler of the Indian team.
Veteran cricketer, Vidya Bhaskar was chief selector of the team. Now, the team shall proceed for Delhi to undergo another practice camp from October 21 to October 26 and matches against Delhi and Services.
