While welcoming their appointment, Apni Party General Secretary Vijay Bakaya hoped that they would work for the public welfare.

He said “We do not mislead people with promises which cannot be achieved.”

“The politics has changed in J&K. People have developed a faith in the Apni Party due to its pro-people policies and agenda of development,” he said.

Bakaya further said that “Some of the regional political parties have become regional with a soft separatist approach in Kashmir. However, the Apni Party has emerged to represent regional sentiments of both the regions equally with nationalist temper.”

“We strongly believe that our future lies with India. However, the facts are being distorted by some Kashmir based political parties with emotional sloganeering   to mislead the people again and gain power. However, it is not possible for them to again hoodwink the innocent people in the valley,” he said.

He said that “People are joining this Party after realizing that the other political parties were misleading them for the last 7 decades.”

After welcoming the appointment of Legal Cell, Provincial President, Jammu, Manjit Singh said that the marginalized section of society which remained victim of politics of polarization in Jammu and Kashmir have extended their unconditional support to Apni Party because of its impartial approach towards their developmental, social, educational and political problems of the neglected class of society.

“We represent every section of society irrespective of their religious or regional identity. Our Party believes that J&K as one unit. The unity among the community will ensure peace and prosperity and Apni Party stands for unity which is against the political ideology of several other regional political parties which have lost their ground,” he said.

It is because of this shrinking ground for such political parties, he said, their senior leaders are joining other political parties.

“Political Parties cannot mislead people for long. We must deliver to the public what is being expected from us or what we have promised to them,” he said.

He said that the Apni Party has achieved a major milestone with the joining of prominent people with credible backgrounds and they have mass support.

“We have given opportunity to new faces in the Party so that they can work with zeal among the people,” he added.

Additional Spokesperson of Apni Party in Jammu, Adv Nirmal Kotwal hoped that the Legal Cell would strengthen the Party.

“Every common man is associated with the Party. Our ideology is not confined to politics, but we do work for the public as a social responsibility,” Kotwal said.

Meanwhile, President of Legal Cell, Apni Party, Adv Vikram Rathore thanked the Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari for his and his team’s appointment.

“Unemployment is worsening and we need to have corrective measures to deal with the situation,” he said.

He said that “Whether it is Consumer Forum, CAT, and other issues, they will organise legal aid camps in peripheral areas of Jammu for their awareness,” he said.
