Jammu, 14 Oct: Despite spread of Covid-19 pandemic, from time to time young generation brought laurels for the Jammu and Kashmir UT. Sikh youth Jagjeet Singh has brought laurels for the JK UT by bagging 2nd prize in Super Model International 2021 modeling competition recently held at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
Sharing his journey in the field of modeling, Jagjeet Singh disclosed that he started his carrier in modeling. Earlier, during school days and after graduation, remain active in theatre with renowned theatre director Mushtaq Kak for 5 years. He was lucky to get chance in acting in 2016 and worked in 5 feature films based on 1947, Kashmir, Indo-Pak stories and 25 short movies.
He further said during his school days, being a lazy student, a teacher changed his life by his comment that you may become driver as like his father. Jagjeet Singh told his father S Nirmal Singh and Mother Rajinder Kour encouraged him to opt another field of his choice. He started working in field of modeling and groomed his personality as per requirement.
His passion for modeling brought result when he received Indian Level Mr India Ist runner up prize and most intelligent award and these awards encougage him for opting his carrier in film industry and modeling of international level events. He said youth of Jammu and Kashmir are capable and can compete in any field and required hardwork, dedication to their respective field.
