Rajouri, July 08: Exchange it fire resumed after almost nine days between security forces and militants in the Daddal village of Sunderbani in Rajouri district on Thursday.

An official told the news agency— that a cordon and search operation was going on in the area for the last nine days near the Line of Control.

He said that on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday last week exchange of fire took place during the operation, which later came to a halt.

The official said that, today the exchange of fire resumed and intermittent firing was going on between both sides.

“Senior officers of army and police have also rushed to the spot,” he said—(KNO)
