DODA, JUNE 11: Khalsa Aid, a Global NGO today donated five oxygen concentrators to assist the District Administration Doda in its fight against Covid-19.

The NGO informed Deputy Commissioner, Doda Vikas Sharma, that these Five Oxygen Concentrators with a capacity of 5 LPM (Litres per minute) have the ability to produce 90 percent Concentrated oxygen.

Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma received the concentrators and thanked the NGO for extending a helping hand to the District Administration Doda in the hour of pandemic.

He said these medical devices would help to reduce burden on oxygen cylinders as the equipment concentrates oxygen from ambient air by capturing and filtering the air. The concentrators were later handed over to Chief Medical Officer Dr Mohammad Yaqoob Mir for further distribution.

District Epediologist, Umar Khan, besides Nodal Officer Covid and other team members were also present.
