Leh, May 04: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 89 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 85 reports were received by CMO Leh and four positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

With the death of three patients from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 148; 104 in Leh and 44 in Kargil.

The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 149 patients yesterday. All of them were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1283; 1138 in Leh district and 145 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informs that 457 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While eight passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Sunday.
