Rajouri, Feb 19: The National Conference (NC) candidate in Rajouri was on Friday elected as District Development Council (DDC) Chairman while Congress candidate bagged Vice Chairman post.

According to the news agency— Advocate Naseem Liaqat, who was PAGD candidate for Chairman won after getting eight out of fourteen votes while Shabir Khan of Congress won as Vice Chairman..

Earlier, the maiden meeting of DDC members to elect Chairman and Vice Chairman was held on 13 February but was later adjourned and scheduled for today—(KNO)
