Article:- How words said to you or you said somebody can change his/her mind or yours, transform you or him/her, break you or him/her, so be careful while using and receiving them. The most beautiful quote about the usage of the words “Be mindful when it comes to your words. A string of some that don’t mean much to you may stick with someone for a lifetime.” Rachael Wolchin. There is a study done by Harvard mental health department, the study suggests scolding, swearing, yelling, blaming, insulting, threatening, ridiculing, demeaning, and criticizing can be as harmful as physical abuse, when verbal abuse is constant and severe it creates a risk of post-traumatic stress disorder, the same type of psychological collapse experienced by combat troops in Iraq.  I think the most important factors behind this social war are parenting skills, change in lifestyle, the way we handle relationships, etc. To overcome this social war we have to take some serious steps inside and outside our homes to protect our present and coming generation and give hope, life and identity back to those who deserve it. Our leaders talk about economic development, nuclear weapons but nobody gives a damn about these issues which are breaking and molding societies and homes themselves. As we leap forward towards modernization the hook is still attached to the primitive harsh social skills and actually, the reason modernization because we spend much time on gadgets and less time on our dear ones.MIT’s Sherry Turkle suggested, our tools over the last 15 years have begun to shape us and our connection with others so that we now “expect more from technology and less from each other.” Substitute pseudo-attachments — even those with people online — can be seductive, but in the end, they take us farther and farther away from the real thing: a loving felt a sense of connection that requires moments of full, absorbing attention and tuning into the real-life nuances of emotion. In that sense, technology reflects a profound lack of awareness about our need for intimate emotional connection. In a good love relationship, if we can turn off the screen, we can learn to say what matters to us in ways that build connection. Lifestyle is also another factor which is affecting our mental and social health, we depend more on junk food rather than healthy food or fruits, we prefer waking up the whole night rather than sleep on time, we depend on transportation rather than walking few miles, we depend more on pills for depression, anxiety and many other health problems rather than meditation. Hope so by reading this small piece of paper you will help yourself and others and will uplift this social trauma from society.
