International Development Week Celebrated In North Kashmir’s Kupwara
Kupwara, (Press Release) With theme of GO FOR THE GOALS International Development Week was celebrated in Banpura, Trehgam. The event was attended by Mr Md Abdullah Mir, BDC Trehgam and Inspector Rashid, SHO Trehgam PS, Sapanches and ward members and approx 180 villagers incl 120 children also attended the event from 11 AM to 1230 PM at Banpura. Mr Md Abdullah Mir and Inspector Rashid told educated everyone about the importance of goals in life and to concentrate on acheiving a brighter and peaceful future.
Enthusiasm of people to attend the same was visible from the large number of attendees and especially children. The sparkling smile on the face of the children indicated the josh and the positivity in their bright young minds and hearts.
On this occasion Goonj Foundation, an NGO distributed Cushion Seats to all the children who attended the event. This move of Humdard-E-Kupwara Battalion was very well appreciated by the Awam and in return applauded Army to arrange such events and their josh gave the message that Awam and Army are standing shoulder to shoulder for a better future.
