Kupwara: It was during the peak hours of traffic in the area of Goose when a Tata Sumo owned by Gulam Nabi Reshi of Mirnag, skidded off-road due to heavy snowfall.

On receiving the SOS call, the  Company Commander of Glassdazi Company immediately rushed to the spot along with the recovery vehicle. After continuous efforts of approx 2 hours, the vehicle was recovered successfully.

Army advised President  Tata Sumo Association to instruct all drivers to take necessary precautions while driving. Also gave the helpline number of the army to further give it to all drivers for any help required at any time.
AWAwholeheartedlyly expressed their gratitude and thanked Army for providing impromptu help and time to time proving as the true HUMDARD of AWAM.
