Leh, Jan 21: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of six persons tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday. Out of which 05 Positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and one Positive sample report was received by CMO Kargil.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 09 patients yesterday. All the patients were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 76; 72 in Leh district and 04 in Kargil district.
Out of the 05 Positive sample reports received by CMO Leh, 02 Positive sample reports were detected from COVID-Lab Leh, and 03 Positive sample reports were detected from RAT. Similarly, 01 Positive sample report received by CMO Kargil was detected from COVID Lab Kargil.
The bulletin further informed that 872 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 22 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, tankers, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Tuesday.
