Leh, Jan. 14: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, five persons tested positive for COVID-19. All the positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 49 patients yesterday. Out of the total, 48 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and one patient was discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 136; 132 in Leh district and four in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informed that 657 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 15 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, tankers, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Tuesday.
