Leh, Jan 13, 2021: To combat COVID-19 in the Lingshed constituency, Ladakh Environment and Health Organization headed by Dy. Director LEHO, Tashi Thokmat handed over 2310 masks and hand sanitizers to the village representatives of Lingshed through Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor LAHDC, Leh Advocate Tashi Gyalson who is also the councillor from Lingshed at Council Secretariat today.
CEC Gyalson lauded the efforts of LEHO for conducting awareness campaigns and extending financial and logistic support to hospitals, frontline warriors of Ladakh Police, Municipalities and in different villages in controlling COVID -19 pandemic. He thanked LEHO for extending their support in the remote and far-off villages like Lingshed, Wanla, Fanjila, Ursi, Hanupata, Fotoksar, Yulchung, Nyaraks, Skumpata and Dipling.
