Nowshera, Jan 09 : The armies of India and Pakistan on Saturday exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshehra sector of Rajouri district.

Officials told the news agency— that Pakistan Army on Saturday afternoon violated ceasefire along LoC in Nowshera sector areas of Rajouri district.

“Violation of ceasefire started at around 01:00 PM and was going on heavily,” they said, adding that areas of Kalsiyan, Baba Khori, Jhanger and others are under heavy firing and shelling from Pak Army.

Officials said that there are no reports of any loss so far while Indian Army is giving befitting reply—(KNO)
