Leh, Jan. 06: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 16 persons tested positive for COVID-19. Out of these, 14 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and two positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 22 patients yesterday. All the patients were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 235; 222 in Leh district and 13 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informed that 419 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 55 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, tankers, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Monday.
