Baramulla, Jan 05: The Jammu and Kashmir police in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district Tuesday extended a helping hand and assisted stranded passenger vehicles besides the worried civilians.
Facilitated people while appreciating the role of Baramulla police told TEN Network that the Concerned Station House Officer (SHO) Syed Ghazanfer and Sub Inspector Waseem Ahmad (SI) despite challenges given the heavy snowfall extended the helping hand to all the affected people and vehicles.
They said that the two officers not only helped the local populace during the challenging conditions but also provided required assistance to all the stranded passengers and vehicles facings snags and other issues due to the slippery road condition at different spots.
The two officers along with teams reached out to all the stranded passengers and vehicles and ensured all recharge to their destinations without any inconvenience, they said.
They also said that the timely action of the police has saved them from hardships during the continuous downpour and heavy snowfall.
The people while expressing their gratitude towards the Baramulla police and in particular the SHO, SI, and their teams said that such officers are an example of true humans with humanity who during the challenging times extend a hand to ease the sufferings of people.
