Srinagar, Jan 05: Following heavy snowfall in the valley, the divisional administration Tuesday issued strict guidelines to concerned department as well as other line departments, ordering strict market checking and asking petrol pump owners to provide limited fuel to the commuters.
In an order, a copy of which lies with the news agency— Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, PK Pole (IAS) has also asked the concerned department to provide LPG cylinders to the consumers only after 21-days against proper acknowledgment and record.
As per the order, only 3 litres of petrol/diesel will be issued to two-wheelers. 05 litres to three-wheelers, 10 litres to four-wheelers (private) and 20 litres each to four-wheelers (commercial) and heavy motor vehicles including buses and trucks.
“In continuation of this office communication No: Divcom/PS/Mise/2021/ 2610-27 dated. 04-01-2021, the instructions are hereby issued for strict adherence by all concerned,” the order states.
The order states that the LPG cylinder shall be issued to the consumer only after 21-days against proper acknowledgement and record.
“All the concerned/Line Departments shall conduct extensive market checking to crack the whip on the persons indulging in overcharging/black-marketing, profiteering etc.” the order states,
It further states that the concerned Tehsildar & TSO shall make surprise visits and ensure implementation of these directions and report through concerned deputy commisioner accordingly—(KNO)
