Jammu, Dec 08 : Two persons were killed while two others were injured in a road accident that took place on Arnas-Mahore road in Reasi district on late Tuesday evening.
An official told the agency— that an Ecco vehicle
on way from Arnas to Mahore met with the accident at Ganjot when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it skidded off road.
“He said that five passengers were travelling in the vehicle. Four of them were critically injured and later two among them succumbed to their injuries at SDH Mahore,” the official said.
He identified the deceased as 24-year-old Rakesh Singh son of Krishan Singh, a resident of Thillu Arnas and 55-year-old Vakil Singh son of Sibu, a resident of Chaan Kanthi in Arnas.
He said that the injured have been shifted to Reasi district hospital for further treatment.
Notably, this is the second accident in a day in Mahore area. Earlier, two persons lost their lives after a canter bus turned turtle near Chassana area in Mahore today afternoon—(KNO)
