41 new positive cases, one death report in UT Ladakh; 37 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Dec. 05: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 41 persons tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, 33 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 08 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.

The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 37 patients yesterday. Out of which 17 were discharged by CMO Leh and 20 by CMO Kargil.

With the report of the death of one more patient from Covid-19 in Leh district yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 120 with 78 in Leh and 42 in Kargil district.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 862; 762 in Leh district and 100 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informed that 267 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 75 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, tankers, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Thursday.
