Jammu: It’s a proud moment for J&K UT that Jammu Barefeet Runner Gaurav Gupta being appreciated and recognised by the Management of ADHM . He has participated in the recent virtual event of Airtel Delhi Half Marathon which was held on 29th Oct 2020 , this was his 7th half marathon with Airtel Delhi Delhi and 5th in a row Barefeet .
Gaurav this time ran from Jakh to chamalyal covering the distance of 21.1 km Barefeet near the India – Pakistan border by chanting the slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai with holding Indian National Flag in his hands and completed the same well before Stipulated Time .
It’s pertinent to mention that Gaurav Gupta is the only Barefeet Runner of J&K UT . He started his journey of Marathons in the year 2014 and from 2017 onwards he started running bare feet as he inspired Milan Suman . This year in the month of January 2020 he has participated in the Tata Mumbai Marathon and completed his first full marathon of 42km Barefeet .
