COVID-19: 97 new positive cases, four deaths report in UT Ladakh

Leh, Nov 17: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh on Monday, a total of 97 persons tested positive for COVID-19 and all the 97 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh. With the death of four more patients from Covid-19 in Leh district, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 93 with 53 in Leh and 40 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further details that 71 patients were discharged by UT Ladakh and all were discharged by CMO Leh. The total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 944; 833 in Leh district and 111 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further informed that 412 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 17 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 10 trucks, tankers, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post on Sunday. And, 161 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 53 trucks, tankers, and light motor vehicles were also screened at Khaltsi Check Post on Sunday.
