Kupwara: To extend the organisational structure, President of Journalists’ and writers’ Association, Kupwara, Fayaz Hamid appointed office bearers to enhance administrative affairs.

After Elected members took oath on the Election day, it was imperative for President under constitutional direction to select members of the association for administrative affairs, financial and information affairs.

According to a communique from General Secretary, Abraar Bhat, the president selected, Irfan Lone as Chief Spokesperson and Kamran Ashraf Bhat as Additional Spokesperson.

For financial affairs, Pir Azhar has been selected as Treasurer, he will also overlook economical strategy regulations.

Moreover, President selected members for regional Coordination; Peerzada Abdur Rashid as joint secretary Kralpora , Meer Javid for Handwara, Asif Iqbal for lolab and Zubair Ahmed for Karnah respectively.

Mr Ashraf Chirag and Mr Ishfaq Syeed, have been selected as senior members of the Core Committee, which will be headed by President himself.

Meanwhile, The core committee released an amended constitution and impressed upon members to follow it without any compromising activity.
“Constitution will direct us and will provide legal bits of advice on every emerging issues and conflict. We are proud to have ‘book of the law,’ which will be followed by every member irrespective of their positions,” General Secretary, JWAK, Abrar Bhat.
