48 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh

Leh, Oct 16: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 48 person  tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, 40 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 08 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
The bulletin further details that
UT Ladakh has discharged 151 patients. Out of which 123 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 28 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has decreased to 915; 738 in Leh district and 177 in Kargil district.
Out of 40 positive sample reports received by CMO Leh, 11 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test, 04 positive sample reports were detected through True Nat, 01 positive sample report was received from DIHAR Lab. Leh and 24 positive sample reports were received from Covid Lab. Chuchot.
While, out of 08 positive sample reports received by CMO Kargil, 06 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test and 02 positive sample reports were detected through True Nat.
The bulletin further informed that, 129 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 111 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post yesterday.
Similarly, 284 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 170 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were also screened at Khaltsi Check Post.
158 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh today
