Leh, Sep 16: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh dated 15.09.2020, a total of 80 persons were tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, CMO Leh received 57 positive reports while CMO Kargil received 23 positive reports.
With the death of three patients from Covid-19 in UT Ladakh – one in Leh district and two in Kargil district, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 44; 18 in Leh and 24 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that 40 patients in Leh and 02 patients in Kargil were discharged yesterday after their negative sample reports were received. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 938; 502 in Leh district and 436 in Kargil district.
It also reports that 24 samples were sent to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing by CMO Kargil yesterday. Also, 43 samples were sent to NCDC New Delhi for testing by CMO Leh. And, a total of 257 passengers were screened at Leh Airport yesterday.
The bulletin further details that in Leh district total positive cases admitted in Covid Hospital are 51, total positive cases in home isolation are 253, in COVID Care Centre 91, and in facility Isolation are 66. Similarly, in Kargil district total positive cases admitted in Covid Hospital are 22, total positive cases in home isolation are 336, and in COVID Care Centre are 78.
