Leh, Sep 14: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, total 74 persons were tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, CMO Leh received 56 positive reports while CMO Kargil received 18 positive reports.
With the death of one patient from Covid-19 in Kargil district, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 41; 17 in Leh and 24 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that 35 patients in Leh and 04 patients in Kargil were discharged yesterday after their negative sample reports were received. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 903; 486 in Leh district and 417 in Kargil district. It also reports that 05 samples were sent to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing by CMO Kargil today.
The bulletin further details that 137 passengers were screened at Leh Airport today. Similarly, at Upshi check post 152 passengers including drivers and helpers of 106 tankers, trucks and light vehicles were screened. Also, 124 passengers including 249 drivers and helpers of 216 tankers, trucks and light vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post yesterday. Vehicles were also sanitized.
