Leh, Sep 13: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, total 51 persons were tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, CMO Leh received 21 positive reports while CMO Kargil received 30 positive reports.

With the death of one more patient from Covid-19 in Leh district, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 40; 17 in Leh and 23 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further details that 20 patients in Leh and 02 patients in Kargil were discharged yesterday after their negative sample reports were received.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 869; 465 in Leh district and 404 in Kargil district.

The bulletin further details that 137 passengers were screened at Leh Airport today. Similarly, at Upshi check post 112 passengers including drivers and helpers of 78 tankers, trucks and light vehicles were screened. Also, 124 passengers including 325 drivers and helpers of 274 tankers, trucks and light vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post yesterday. Vehicles were also sanitized.
