Srinagar, Aug 06 : Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Manoj Sinah, whose name was cleared for the post of Lieutenant Governor of J&K today morning by the Government of India is expected to arrive in Srinagar in the afternoon and he will be administered oath of office tomorrow in Rajbhawan Srinagar.

Official sources said  that Sinha is expected to arrive in Srinagar later in the afternoon. “He will be administered oath as the new LG of J&K tomorrow morning at Rajbhawan Srinagar,” they said.

The change took place on the first anniversary of the centre’s move to scrap special status to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 and bifurcation of the erstwhile state into two UTs—Ladakh and J&K.
