JAMMU, Aug 4: Placing on record his appreciation over the neutralization of divisive Article 370, abrogation of discriminatory Article 370 and separate J&K Constitution, creation of UT of Ladakh and conversion of the leftover J&K also into a UT, Ikkjutt Jammu chairman Adv Ankur Sharma today urged one and all in Jammu to celebrate August 5 as a day of deliverance. “August 5, 2019 constituted the victory of the nationalists over the seditionists and communal forces and a great setback for the Kashmir’s regressive leadership,” said Ankur Sharma,

Ikkjutt Jammu also takes this opportunity to congratulate J&K daughters, Hindu-Sikh refugees from Pakistan, Valmikis, Gurkhas and all others who were declared eligible for the J&K domicile certificates and all citizenship rights. It is said that they suffered humiliations for 72-long years, said Ankur Sharma.

He further said that Article 370 was a constitutional tool of creating a Non Secular, Theocratic, Islamic and Muslim State within the secular territory of India. The movement of Pakistan didn’t stop with the creation of Pakistan in 1947. A new Pakistan was created within India. This new Pakistan disguised as Secular Muslim Majority State of J&K was a continuation of the movement of Pakistan and many more partitions in the name of religion. Unfortunately it is the State of India which through constitutional measures granted it legitimacy, protection and unfettered powers.

On 5th August, 2019 the Legal Structure of this Islamic State was dismantled which is to say that the De Jure Islamic State of J&K was given a peaceful burial. The De Facto Islamic State is still in existence. It operates through individuals and policies planted in the state apparatus. The deeply entrenched policies, formulations, biases, preferences and mindsets are keeping it alive.

There is hardly any visible change in the system that created serious problems for the nation in J&K, converted Jammu and Ladakh into Kashmir’s colonies, fleeced the country and loot and plunder lakhs and lakhs of the State and Forest land in the state, especially in Jammu province. The administrative structure has not been changed. The administration continues to remain in the hands of those who hounded out the miniscule minority of Kashmiri Hindus, jeopardized the legitimate socio-economic and political rights of the people of Jammu and Ladakh, hurt the national cause in the state and changed the demography of Jammu on an unprecedented scale,” said Ikkjutt Jammu chairman.

Ankur Sharma said that the hope of the people of Jammu province that their night of discontent and despair would end after the abrogation of the state’s separate status has dashed to the ground as the people of the province continue to face worst kind of discrimination. “The Jammu youth is seething with anger and chaffing. The manner in which the selection process of J&K Bank’s Probationary Officers and Banking Associates were cancelled is a glaring example that only serves to demonstrate that things for Jammu have not changed and that Kashmir continues to rule the roost through its entrenched men in the Secretariat and in the vital political and financial institutions.

Ikkjutt chairman urged the PM and the HM to puncture the 73-year-old undesirable ecosystem so that the gains of the August 5, 2019 actions are further consolidated and the secessionists and communalists in Kashmir neutralized.

Ankur Sharma criticised the Government for denying to officially recognise Genocide against Hindus and Sikhs in J&K; Constituting the Delimitation Commission mandated to conduct the Delimilitation on the basis of fraud and fudged 2011 Census; an anti Jammu measure; denial of the central as well as UT Government to recognise, arrest and contain Land Jihadis or Demographic Invasion of Jammu and installation of illegal Toll Plazas. IkkJutt Jammu further demanded implementation of the March 12, 2018 Supreme Court order passed in PIL titled Ankur Sharma V. Union of India and Ors. regarding identification/notification of Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Christians as Minorities in J&K have become imperative,” adding that the patience of people of Jammu province facing continuous disempowerment is ending and ending very fast.
