Leh, July 28: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, informed that 01 patients from Covid Care Centre at Leh were discharged today, after the negative sample reports were received by CMO Leh yesterday.
With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has risen to 254; 194 in Leh district and 60 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 254 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.
Yesterday (CMO), Leh received 03 positive sample reports and 70 Negative sample reports and CMO Kargil received 16 negative sample reports from PGIMER Chandigarh.
While CMO Leh received 01 positive sample reports and CMO Kargil received 14 positive sample reports from COVID Lab Chuchot Yokma. Three positive cases were detected in Kargil today by Rapid Antigen Test.
Today 226 samples were sent to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing. Out of the total samples, 181 samples are sent by CMO Leh and 45 samples are sent by CMO kargil.
76 passengers and 312 drivers and helpers of 206 trucks / tankers and light motors vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check post yesterday. The vehicles were also sanitized.
The Health workers at Upshi check post screened 136 passengers yesterday, which include drivers and helpers of 41 tankers, 46 trucks and 08 light vehicles.
