Jammu, July 25 (TEN Network) : In a very bizzare incident amid the sugre in Covid-19 Postive cases in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, a female COVID 19 positive patient under illegal compromise was allowed to leave by some self styled health workers at Narayana Hospital in Jammu division.

This illegal move from vicinity medicos surfaced amid the alarming situation due to COVID-19 pandemic when a single medical negligence can land hundreds in worrying situation and the entire running system to grinding halt.

Sources disclosed to TEN Network that a female patient from Kashmir valley was admitted to Narayana Hospital, Kakaryal, days back, was supposed to undergo some operation and this was to be conducted by a group of doctors associated with gastro-intestinal complications.

Sources said that the ailing lady tested positive on Friday night for Covid-19 in the hospital prior to the operation and was kept in the first floor of general ward initially where medical team regularly attended her for medical checkups.

She was regular attended to by two medicos from Kashmir valley working in Narayana hospital who after the lady’s Postive swab result were directed to undergo mandatory quarantine along with other staff including Para-medical workings in the vicinity, sources within the hospital disclosed to TEN Network on anonymous basis.

But to an utter shock of all, the patient was discharged from the hospital and apparently sent to government medical college (GMC) Jammu where sources said she hasn’t reported as of now while her accurate whereabouts are still untraced which is a huge case of worry for the entire population since it can have catastrophic impact.

Sources said that no preventive steps were initiated in Narayana hospital which is serving as a prime hospital for Covid-19 patients.

“The hospital has not provided any detail regarding the case nor has Reasi district administration said anything about the case, while the identification of the 40-year-old patient is undisclosed in view of the SOPs of Covid 19 (Available with this news gathering house). ”

Meanwhile the citizens have showed serious resentment over the failure of admisntrtaion stating that the report clearly shows that gross mismanagement and unethical professional behaviour displayed by the doctors who invited her from Kashmir.

They (Doctors) have apparently compromised and put lives of many people at high risk. We hope the government will take cognizance of the case and take corrective steps, respectable citizens said.
