19 more tested COVID-19 positive in UT Ladakh; 18 cured and discharged

Leh, July 19: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, CMO Leh received 19 positive reports and 36 negative sample reports and CMO Kargil received 8 negative reports from COVID Lab UT Ladakh yesterday.

CMO Leh received 109 negative sample reports from yesterday and CMO Kargil received 21 negative sample reports from PGIMER Chandigarh yesterday.

18 patients in Facility Isolation at Leh were discharged today after their negative sample reports were received yesterday.

 

With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 173; 143 in Leh district and 30 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 173 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.

 

At Upshi check post 81 passengers were screened who came in 37 tankers, 23 trucks and 03 Tempo traveler light vehicles. 222 passengers and 190 trucks/tankers drivers and helpers as well as 32 others were screened at Khaltsi Check post who came in 142 trucks/tankers and light motor vehicles yesterday. The vehicles were also sanitised.
