Leh, July 18: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, CMO Leh received 05 positive reports and 7 negative sample reports and CMO Kargil received 02 negative reports from PGIMER Chandigarh yesterday.
CMO Leh received 21 negative sample reports from COVID Lab UT Ladakh yesterday and CMO Kargil received 3 positive and 16 negative sample reports from COVID Lab UT Ladakh yesterday.
10 patients in Facility Isolation at Leh were discharged today and 2 patients from Home Isolation at Kargil were discharged after their negative sample reports were received yesterday.
With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 172; 142 in Leh district and 30 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 172 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.
Today 160 samples were sent to PGIMER Chandigarh and COVID Lab UT Ladakh for testing. Out of the total samples 130 samples were sent by CMO Leh and 30 samples by CMO Kargil.
At Upshi check post 92 passengers were screened who came in 40 tankers, 27 trucks and 02 light vehicles. 92 passengers and 179 drivers and helpers of 122 trucks/tankers and light motors vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check post yesterday. The vehicles were also sanitised.
