14 more tested COVID-19 positive in UT Ladakh; 18 cured and discharged

Leh, July 15: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, CMO Leh received 14 positive sample reports: 12 positive sample reports from PGIMER Chandigarh and 02 positive sample reports from COVID-Lab Chushot yesterday.

While 17 patients in home isolation at Leh and 01 patient from COVID Care Centre in Kargil were discharged today after their negative sample reports were received by CMO Leh and CMO Kargil yesterday.

With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 177; 148 in Leh district and 29 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 177 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.

Today, 41 samples were sent by CMO Leh to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing.
175 passengers and 213 drivers and helpers of 146 trucks/tankers and light motors vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check post yesterday. The vehicles were also sanitised.

The Health workers at Upshi check post screened 110 passengers yesterday, which include drivers and helpers of 27 tankers, 27 trucks, and 10 light vehicles
