Leh, July 09: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, informed that 11 patients in Home Isolation at Leh and 01 patient from COVID Hospital Leh were discharged today, after negative sample report were received by CMO Leh yesterday. Similarly, 10 patients in Home Isolation at Kargil and 05 patients of COVID Care Centre Kargil were discharged today, after their negative sample reports were received by CMO Kargil yesterday.
With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has drop to 139; 93 in Leh district and 46 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 139 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.
Yesterday (CMO), Leh received 8 positive sample reports and 58 Negative reports from PGIMER Chandigarh.28 samples needs retesting.
Today 68 samples were sent to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing. Out of total samples, 46 samples are sent by CMO Leh and 22 samples are sent by CMO Kargil.
76 passengers and 199 drivers and helpers of 132 trucks / tankers and light motors vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check post yesterday. The vehicles were also sanitized.
The Health workers at Upshi check post screened 110 passengers yesterday, which include drivers and helpers of 30 tankers, 20 trucks and 07 light vehicles.
