Leh, July 04: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, yesterday CMO, Leh received 03 positive sample reports and 07 negative sample reports from PGIMER Chandigarh. While, CMO Kargil received 01 positive sample report and 03 negative sample reports from PGIMER Chandigarh and 05 samples needs retesting.
05 patients in home isolation and 04 patients from COVID Hospital Leh were discharged today; similarly, 40 patients in home isolation in Kargil were also discharged today after their negative sample reports were received by CMO Leh and Kargil respectively.
With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has dropped to 178; 87 in Leh district and 91 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 223 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.
Today 109 samples were sent by CMO Leh to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing. Out of these 46 samples are sent by CMO Leh and 63 samples are sent by CMO Kargil.
64 passengers and 192 drivers and helpers of 135 trucks/tankers and light motors vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check post yesterday. The vehicles were also sanitised.
The Health workers at Upshi check post screened 93 passengers yesterday, which include drivers and helpers of 33 tankers, 09 trucks and 07 light motor vehicles.
