Leh, July 03: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, informed that 09 patients in Home Isolation and 02 patients from COVID Hospital Leh were discharged today after their negative sample reports were received by Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Leh yesterday. Similarly, 36 patients in home isolation were also discharged today after their negative sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has drop to 223; 93 in Leh district and 130 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 223 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.
Yesterday (CMO), Leh received 11 positive sample reports and 60 negative sample reports from PGIMER Chandigarh. CMO Kargil also received 28 negative sample reports from PGIMER Chandigarh.
Today 66 samples were sent by CMO Leh to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing. Out of these 33 samples are sent by CMO Leh and 33 samples are sent by CMO Kargil.
64 passengers and 233 drivers and helpers of 153 trucks/tankers and light motors vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check post yesterday. The vehicles were also sanitized.
The Health workers at Upshi check post screened 126 passengers yesterday, which includes drivers and helpers of 40 tankers, 32 trucks and 09 light vehicles.
